OMODA is Now Entering Turkish Market As An Independent Brand

Chery is expanding its brand presence in Turkey. OMODA is now entering the Turkish market as an independent brand.

Chinese automotive giant Chery is reshaping its brand presence in Turkey. Previously sold under the Chery brand, OMODA models will now enter the market as an independent brand. Thus, Chery’s presence in Turkey will continue under three distinct brands: Chery, Jaecoo, and OMODA.

Chery will now have three distinct faces on Turkish roads:

Chery: The main brand
Jaecoo: The modern SUV brand
OMODA: The independent brand representing premium mobility

This strategic restructuring will enable it to appeal to consumers with a wider product range and distinct brand identities.

Vivian Jiang, Vice President of OMODA&JAECOO Turkey, said, “ As of 2025, the Chery Group maintained its momentum in high-quality development. The group’s vehicle sales in the first half of the year increased by 14.5 percent compared to the previous year, reaching 1.26 million units. The company exported 550,000 vehicles, accounting for approximately 20 percent of China’s total automobile exports, and maintained its leading position in China’s automobile exports. As of July 2025, OMODA and JAECOO have sold over 600,000 units globally in just 27 months, making them the fastest new brand to achieve this success.”
