VinFast sold 11,231 vehicles in four countries worldwide in August 2025, accounting for 0.17% of global sales. Vietnam VinFast sold 10,922 vehicles, US VinFast sold 165, and Indonesia VinFast sold 139.
Vietnamese company VinFast is rapidly gaining ground in the electric motorcycle market, with second-quarter sales of electric two-wheelers increasing 55% month-over-month to nearly 70,000 units. If the Vietnamese government’s ban on gasoline-powered motorcycles is implemented as planned, VinFast’s sales are expected to surge even further.
VinFast, a subsidiary of VinGroup, Vietnam’s largest private company, went public on the Nasdaq in August 2023. Its stock price soared to $82, bringing its market capitalization to over $190 billion. In 2024, VinFast delivered 97,399 electric vehicles in Vietnam, capturing over 90% of the Vietnamese market share.
