Subaru’s Global Vehicle Sales in August 2025

In August 2025, Subaru sold a total of 82,077 vehicles in 30 countries worldwide, accounting for 1.27% of global sales. This included 61,220 Subaru vehicles in the US, 7,792 in Japan, 6,852 in Canada, and 3,202 in Australia.

Subaru’s global sales reached 244,000 units in the second quarter of 2025 (first quarter of fiscal year 2026), a year-on-year increase of 15.1%. However, in the US market, additional tariffs, coupled with the appreciation of the yen and pressure from raw material costs, led to a 16.2% year-on-year decline in operating profit, falling to 76.4 billion yen.

Subaru has set a global sales target of 900,000 units for fiscal year 2026, a 4.9% reduction from the previous year, reflecting a cautious approach during its electrification transition.
